To Help You Have a Successful Experience

The following is a list of guidelines and suggestions to ensure a successful experience at a Preferra Learn event.

For Live Webinars

We only offer CEs to attendees to the live streaming of our webinars/virtual courses.

  • Preferra Insurance Company RRG will email its policyholders 30 days before the event with a registration link and event information.
  • An event blurb will also appear on the Preferra and Preferra Learn websites with a link to the event description and registration page.
  • Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email with detailed information on how to join the live webinar.
  • On the day of the webinar, you have to:
    • Log in to Preferra Learn 15 minutes before the event.
    • Select the course and attend the live webinar – join Zoom.
    • You need to attend the entire webinar to receive your CEs.
    • After the webinar ends, stay logged in and complete the evaluation. You will be able to retrieve your certificate.

Note: All webinar resources will be available the day before the webinar. The webinar has a capacity of 1000 attendees. Registration closes the day before the live event or when maximum capacity is reached.

For In-person Courses

We only offer CEs to attendees to the live streaming of our webinars/virtual courses.

  • Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email with detailed information for the event.
  • On the day of the workshop, you have to:
    • Arrive at the venue 30 minutes before the event starts.
    • Sign-in attendance list.
    • Attend the entire event.
    • Complete evaluation.
    • Sign out attendance list.

Note: All workshop resources will be available online the day before the event. Some materials will be distributed during the event. Workshop capacity varies. Registration closes the day before the in-person course or when maximum capacity is reached.

Course Completion and CE Information
For Live Webinars:

Social workers must attend the webinar and complete a course evaluation to receive CE credit.

For In-Person Courses:

Social workers must attend the course (sign-in and sign-out attendance list) and complete a course evaluation to receive CE credit. The certificate will be emailed within seven business days after the event.

Cancellations and Refunds

If you need to cancel your registration, please do so by emailing us at [email protected] this will allow us to open a space for another participant.

The majority of our courses are free of charge. For the courses that require payment,  requested refunds will take up to 72 hours to process and will go to the method of payment used at registration. The funds can be reflected in the respective account in 7 to 10 business days, depending on the registrant’s financial institution.

To make sure our learning management system runs well, please make sure your desktop computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, or smart device has the following:

  • The most recent version of one of the web browsers listed below.
  • Javascript enabled
  • PDF plugin
  • Graphic and audio output capability
  • Broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 5Mbps (recommended)
  • TLS 1.2 supported by your web browser
