Terrie Fritz has recently retired from the position of Director of The Center for Social Work in Healthcare at the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work, University of Oklahoma. Terrie has practiced social work since graduating with her MSW in 1978 and has worked in the fields of Child Welfare, Mental Health, and Maternal and Child Health in direct and program/policy development positions.
From 1995 to 2011, she was the Director of Child Health and the Director of Behavioral Health at the Oklahoma Health Care Authority, the state agency responsible for administering the Medicaid program. Before that, Terrie was the Director of Social Work for the Oklahoma State Department of Health. She currently contracts with private not-for-profits, administering special projects in professional development.
Terrie currently serves as presenter for the Preferra’s Risk Management Education Program.
