Becky Fast, MPA, LSCSW brings more than 30 years of experience in direct practice, public policy, education, and leadership in the social work profession. She earned her clinical social work license while providing hospice care, delivering mental health counseling and support to patients and their families during some of life’s most challenging moments.
Becky earned both a Master of Social Work and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Kansas. She then joined the University of Kansas as a public policy analyst, where she evaluated and improved services for older adults and people with disabilities across Kansas.
Most recently, Becky served as Executive Director of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Kansas Chapter from 2017 to 2025, where she led successful advocacy efforts. She joined Preferra’s Risk Management Education Program in 2026.
