Learning Objectives

After the webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Create and implement a protocol that helps them follow their profession’s Code of Ethics while understanding their school’s and/or school district’s expectations for their role.
  2. Recognize the critical skills school social workers need to successfully navigate their school and/or school district.
  3. Strategize ways to share their profession’s Code of Ethics with professionals from other disciplines within their school or school district.
Course Completion & CE Information
Social workers must attend the entire webinar and complete a course evaluation to receive CE credit.

All states accept ACE providers except New York.

New York does not accept ASWB ACE provider or course/conference approval. Preferra is in the process of applying for approval as a Continuing Education Provider for LMSWs and LCSWs in New York.

Even when a social work board accepts courses offering ASWB ACE credit, licensees are responsible for determining whether courses meet the CE requirements in their jurisdictions. States and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether any individual course may be accepted for credit.
