On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, we hosted a 90-minute “Talks with Our Experts” dedicated to faculty, field placement, and students from schools of Social Work nationwide on issues and matters concerning risk management.

Many insureds working as faculty and field placement officers have reached out to us through our risk management hotline, regular workshops, and our exhibits at key industry conferences, asking about the nuances of risk management mitigation in the present environment. They aim to equip their students with the necessary knowledge and tools to build and maintain a healthy social work career.

Knowing that many social work undergraduate students will start their field placement, internship or practicum by early or middle January 2025, we held a “Talks with Our Experts” session to provide faculty, field placement, and students critical risk management information that will allow them to have peace of mind in the role they fulfill.

This 90-minute event does not provide continuing education, and the live attendees had 45 minutes of instructions and 45 minutes for questions and answers. You can register to view this workshop on demand. To register, click the button below.

Preferra Insurance Company RRG, provider # 2109, is approved as an ACE provider to offer continuing education in social work by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 09/30/2024-08/30/2025. Social workers completing this course receive 1.5 ethics continuing education credits.
