Learning Objectives
After the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Develop and implement or periodically review, social work protocols related to boundaries, competence, technology, and self-care, enabling professionals to recognize areas for improvement before any allegation occurs.
- Become familiar with and comfortably navigate the Ethical Standards of the NASW Code of Ethics as they relate to clients and colleagues.
- Identify the appropriate resources that enable professionals to stay current with state laws and regulations that impact social work practice.
Course Completion & CE Information
Social workers must attend the entire webinar and complete a course evaluation to receive CE credit.
All states accept ACE providers except New York.
New York does not accept ASWB ACE provider or course/conference approval. Preferra is in the process of applying for approval as a Continuing Education Provider for LMSWs and LCSWs in New York.
Even when a social work board accepts courses offering ASWB ACE credit, licensees are responsible for determining whether courses meet the CE requirements in their jurisdictions. States and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether any individual course may be accepted for credit.
