Make an educated decision about having a social media presence by weighing the benefits and risks for their career development and long-term business plan.
Develop or revised their social media policy to share with clients, explaining the rationale behind their social media presence and outlining protocols for their therapist-patient relationship.
Create and implement a periodic audit of their social media presence to evaluate its ethical use and emphasize the importance of staying current with platform usage knowledge.
