Target Audience: Social Workers
Good, solid, complete, and up-to-date documentation is one of the most crucial risk management tools available to social work professionals.
Social workers must document all interactions with their clients. They should also record exchanges with colleagues, supervisors, or any other third parties that could impact their professional practice, in accordance with the profession’s Code of Ethics.
In addition to proper documentation, social workers must understand how to maintain records, including storage options, client access, and compliance with their state’s statute of limitations, when applicable.
This 90-minute, live, interactive webinar will provide actionable information and guidance that participants can implement immediately in their current practice setting.
Only Attendees of this live webinar will receive CE credit!

- Develop or revise recordkeeping policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state regulations and confidently respond to records requests from clients and third parties.
- Make informed decisions about using artificial intelligence to automate client notes by understanding the importance of training, accuracy, confidentiality, regulatory compliance, and security.
Course Completion & CE Information
Social workers must attend the entire webinar and complete a course evaluation to receive CE credit.
All states accept ACE providers except New York.
New York does not accept ASWB ACE provider or course/conference approval. Preferra is in the process of applying for approval as a Continuing Education Provider for LMSWs and LCSWs in New York.
Even when a social work board accepts courses offering ASWB ACE credit, licensees are responsible for determining whether courses meet the CE requirements in their jurisdictions. States and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether any individual course may be accepted for credit.
